Bala Model Railway Show
Come and join us on 21st and 22nd September at Ysgol Godre’r Berwyn Secondary School for the 2024 Bala Model Railway Show.
There's also a frequent vintage bus service to and from the Bala Lake Railway connecting with our trains.

Beautiful Welsh Countryside
Rheilffordd Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake Railway) offers a delightful 9 mile return journey alongside Bala Lake, through the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Our narrow gauge steam trains give excellent views of the lake amid its surrounding scenery including the nearby mountains of Arenig Fawr, Aran Benllyn and Aran Fawddwy. Bala Town Extension
The Bala Lake Railway Trust needs to raise over £4 million as part of the Red Dragon Project to construct the extension of the Bala Lake Railway to Bala Town Station. Please see the latest news or help us by donating using PayPal Giving (opens external website).
