Steam on Road and Rail – Bala Lake Railway

4th to 6th May 2024

For those who remember attending or seeing pictures of the ‘Bala at 50’ event in 2022 you will have seen we had visiting traction engines in attendance.

They were so well received that we thought we would invite them back!

They will be in steam over the weekend, around the station site and through the perfect setting of the village of Llanuwchllyn.

Harking back to an evocative time where Steam was seen on the road, used in agriculture as well as on rails.

Come along and relive that bit of history that was once so common place.

Our Pink 2 train service will be in operation on the Saturday and Sunday with our Blue service on the Monday.
