This August saw the launch of a brand-new way to experience the Bala Lake Railway – without even leaving your home! A detailed virtual recreation of our line has been released for Train Simulator Classic, bringing the sights and sounds of our heritage railway to life on your computer.
The project has been in development for several years, and we’ve been delighted to support it along the way. Our team provided information, access, and even sound recordings to help make the experience as authentic as possible.
The response so far has been fantastic, and we’re especially pleased that 10% of all sales will be donated each month to the Bala Lake Railway Trust, supporting our ongoing work to preserve and develop the railway.
