On 5th June 2026, a private event called "The Wagon Day" was held at the Bala Lake Railway. Alice, Maid Marian and Clayton Battery-Electric Terminator were used to take a significant proportion of our heritage wagon fleet out to stretch there wheels. The day featured:
- The Dinorwic wagons and yellow coach.
- A mixed Penrhyn wagon rake.
- A mixed Ffestiniog slate wagon rake.
- A short tipper rake
- A double header with the Penrhyn and Ffestiniog wagons.
- Three full line return trips and three half-returns to Llangower.
- Wagon trains passing a Llangower with a three train shunt.
