Between Pentrepiod and Llangower, you will pass Glan Llyn Flag Halt, this station was built as part of the original standard gauge line for the benefit of the land owner on the far side of the lake, who used to cross the lake by boat to catch the train. Glan Llyn is not used by normal services and is not accessible to the public, so the train will not stop here. It does however see use at Christmas and Halloween for specials.
Beyond Glan Llyn, the train will run along a lakeside embankment, before passing into a cutting on the approach to Llangower.
