Bala Model Railway Show – Bala Lake Railway

20th and 21st September 2025

The 2025 Bala Model Railway Show will be held at Ysgol Godre’r Berwyn Secondary School, Ffrydan Road, Bala, Gwynedd LL23 7RU.

Opening times: 10.00-16.00 on both Saturday and Sunday.

Refreshments and free parking will be available.

Vintage bus service to and from the Bala Lake Railway to connect with our frequent trains.

We’ve made it easy to visit the Bala Model Show and ride the Bala Lake Railway by connecting the show venue with the station at Bala with a free vintage bus service. If you’re visiting both, we recommend parking at the school for the model show and using the bus to get to the station, or otherwise starting your day at Llanuwchllyn and travelling on the train and vintage bus to the show.
