After a long career at the Penrhyn Quarry in North Wales 'Winifred' spent over 50 years in the USA before being repatriated and fully overhauled in our workshops.
Exactly 130 years to the day that she was originally delivered to the quarry, 'Winifred' returned to service, and haued her first ever passenger trains on 13th April 2015. A re-dedication of the loco by world famous record producer, song writer and railway enthusiast Pete Waterman took place followed by a special service for invited guests, prior to auling her first ever public passenger trains.
